Independence Day Parade
Chatham's Independence Day Parade is one of the oldest in the United States. It attracts over 20,000 spectators and showcases the pride of the community, its visitors and residents. Recent parades have had around 100 entrants – floats, bands, local organizations, families, antique cars, sports teams, fire trucks, performers, and more.
Chatham Art in the Park combines public art with business community support to create a unique Chatham experience.
Works of art are created by local artists using Cape Cod-related profiles, which are on display from June through August.
There is also a scavenger hunt for smaller companion pieces of art in local shops.
