Chatham's Independence Day Parade is one of the oldest in the United States. It attracts over 20,000 spectators and showcases the pride of the community, its visitors and residents. Recent parades have had around 100 entrants – floats, bands, local organizations, families, antique cars, sports teams, fire trucks, performers, and more. - Chatham Art in the Park
Chatham Art in the Park combines public art with business community support to create a unique Chatham experience. Works of art are created by local artists using Cape Cod-related profiles, which are on display from June through August. The Chatham Creative Art Center's Festival of the Arts is Cape Cod's Premier Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, showcasing beautiful work. The Chatham Turkey Trot is a fun 3.1 mile run / walk in Chatham, Massachusetts. Participants bring a bag of groceries along with their registration fees, and all of the money and groceries are donated to the Lower Cape Outreach Council.
